Products

Products define how customers get access to your content: for free, with a subscription, by renting or buying a show, or by paying for an event.

Go to your platform in the left menu and select Settings → Products. Only administrators can manage products.

Product types

Type	Description
Free VOD	Free access to the selected content. No extra configuration needed.
SVOD	A recurring subscription, with prices for 1, 3, 6 and/or 12 months, and an optional free trial.
AVOD	Free access with ads.
TVOD	Rent or buy a single show.
PPV	Pay once to watch an event.

Only the types enabled for your platform are available.

Create a product

1. Click Add Product.

2. In the Product Details tab, fill in:

   Field	Description
   Name	The product name shown to customers.
   Description	A description of the product.
   Features	The benefits of the product, one per line, for example "catch-up TV".
   Sale period	Optional. Sale Start and Sale End dates for the product. Leave empty for no limit.
   Max Simultaneous Streams	How many streams a customer can watch at the same time. Leave empty to use the platform default.
   Type	The product type.
   Status	Active or Inactive.

3. Fill in the settings of the product type, described below.

4. Click Create Product.

5. Open the Allowed Content tab to choose what the product gives access to. See Allowed content.

SVOD settings

• Trial Period: No Trial, or a free trial of 3, 7, 14 or 30 days.
• Currency and Payment Provider.
• Stripe Product ID: the ID of the product in your Stripe account.
• Pricing: turn on each billing period you offer (1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 12 Months) and set its price and Stripe Price ID. Optionally add a Price label (for example "every month") and a Price badge (for example "Best value").

Price changes made here are not applied to your Stripe account automatically. Make the same changes in your Stripe dashboard.

TVOD settings

• License Duration (days): 0 makes it a purchase, with access for as long as the show is available. Any other value makes it a rental for that many days.
• Watch Window (hours): how long the customer can watch after pressing play for the first time, for example 48 hours. 0 means no limit.
• Price, Currency, Price label and Price badge.

PPV settings

• Event duration: optional Event Start and Event End dates.
• Price, Currency, Price label and Price badge.

Allowed content

In the Allowed Content tab, choose what customers of the product can watch:

• Allow full content access: everything in your video library is included. Not available for TVOD products.
• Otherwise, add the specific content:
  • LIVE CHANNELS: your publishers' live channels. Not available for TVOD.
  • SHOWS: the included shows. A TVOD product is linked to exactly one show.
  • EVENTS: the included live events.

You can also include a show or an event in products from the show's or event's own settings, with Include in Subscription.

Manage products

The products list shows each product's name, type, whether it's On Sale, and its status. From the ⋮ menu you can Edit, Deactivate or Activate a product.
