Social Media Accounts

Connect your social media accounts to Dejacast to restream your live channel with Live to Social and to publish videos from your Media Library.

Go to Settings → Social Media Accounts. The page is titled Authorized Publishing Channels.

Availability

Each platform must be enabled for your account. If you don't see the platform you need, contact [email protected].

Regular users can open this page only if an administrator turned on Allow User to Connect Social Media Accounts for them. See Manage Team.

Connect an account​

Under Authorize the Dejacast application on the following social networks, click the platform you want to connect and sign in to it. Then allow Dejacast to access your account.

  • YouTube: sign in with the Google account that owns the channel. You can also click Add Youtube Channel from the accounts list.
  • Facebook: under Add the Facebook profile and page, choose Profile or Page, then click Log in with Facebook. To connect a Facebook group, contact support. You can also click Add Facebook Page from the accounts list.
  • TikTok: click the TikTok logo.
  • Twitch: click Connect with Twitch.

To go live on a Facebook profile while controlling who can see it, open Facebook's Applications and websites or Business integrations settings, find the Dejacast app, click View and edit, and choose the audience (Public, Private or Only me).

The accounts list​

Each connected account shows:

  • the platform and type (channel, page, profile or group) and the account name, with a link to it
  • who authorized it
  • when its authorization expires
  • icons for what it can be used for: Live stream access and/or Video upload access
  • who can use it:
    • Visible for the whole company: accounts connected by an administrator.
    • Visible only to the one who authorized and administrators: accounts connected by a regular user.

Renew or remove an account​

To disconnect an account from Dejacast, click Deauthorize on its row. To connect it again, or to renew an authorization that has expired, click Authorize and sign in again.

Regular users can deauthorize and authorize only the accounts they connected. Administrators can manage all accounts.
