Use Show as a Playlist

Instead of embedding a single video, you can embed a whole Show. Each time the page loads, the player picks a video from the show, so the content on the page stays fresh without you having to update the embed code.

Build the embed code​

The show embed code has this structure:

Replace the placeholders:

  • [PLAYER_SLUG]: the ID of the player that will play the videos. Find it in Settings → Players, in the ID column. To create or change a player, see General player integration.
  • [SHOW_SLUG]: the slug of the show. Go to Shows, click the show name and copy the value of the Slug field. Keep the s in front of it.

For example, for the player example-player and the show sports:

Paste the code into your web page where you want the player to appear.

Choose which video plays​

By default, the player plays a random video from the show.

To always play the latest published video of the show, add sort=published_at_desc to the embed URL:

Only active, fully processed videos are played. Full-show recordings are not included. If the show is inactive, the player does not load.

To keep playing other videos from the same show after the first one ends, set Playlist mode to Same show in the player settings.
